Our Story

During the last decade, Peruvian food has become one of the most popular in the world. For that reason, Peru has been recognized as one of the best culinary destinations. Moreover, Sabor Peruano is proud of its roots, and seeks to bring the best of Peruvian food to New Jersey. Our eight years in Rahway and our vast gastronomic culture give us the experience to offer you the best.

Sabor Peruano is a family restaurant with modern decoration that serves traditional Peruvian food. For us, the ingredients are very important, so they are brought specially from Peru to preserve the original flavor.

We do not sell food, but we sell a gastronomic experience. As a restaurant, we offer a different experience, a good meal, and good service. Our mission will always be to provide the best Peruvian food with high-quality standards, and our goal is to be the best representatives of Peruvian cuisine in New Jersey.

We take reservations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. To make a reservation, please call us at (732) 900-1396 or (732) 827-5397 between 10am-6pm, Monday to Sunday.

We closed on Tuesdays. Call our reservations team for more information.

Our Policy

Reservations:

– We will hold your table for 15 minutes.
– Please call if you are going to be late.
– Entire party must be present to give you the table.
– 2 hours maximum time on weekends.
– Gratuity will be included on parties of 8 o more.
– All outside desserts will get a $2 plate charge.
– Please be courteous, we are a small restaurant.
